Born and raised just outside of Pittsburgh, a native to West Allegheny schools, and with a BFA degree in painting from Edinboro University, I have finally realized my dream of working a job that I truly LOVE!

With over 8 years of experience as a Pittsburgh Wedding Photographer in the industry, and over 150 weddings photographed, I know the gravity a wedding day brings, I’ve essentially seen it all, and I work endlessly to help yinz make your wedding day exactly what you want it to be!

I’m a hands on photographer, which means I’m there to not only document your day, but to help bustle your dress, pin boutonnieres. fold pocket kerchiefs, hairspray flyaways, or to sew a popped button! Whatever you need on your wedding day to help everything go as smoothly as possible, and for you to look and feel your best, I’m there. All of that on top of taking some downright magical photos of your wedding day, showing yinz just how beautiful your love really is.

My style focuses on classically clean colors, with a true to tone white balance, that reflect your big day’s vibe, with an aim to deliver a gallery where you can feel the emotion from the candid shots, and see the glamor of your bridal portraits, along with all the typical “wedding day photos” you’d expect from your photographer! Hi! I'm Laura. Wife, mother, sister, dog lover, veil master, bustle expert and photographer! Quieting and managing chaos is literally what I do on a daily basis with two spunky girls and a golden retriever at home. On wedding days, I thrive in the hustle and bustle I am always looking toward the horizon for the next great challenge, I believe that everything done in life should be done with tremendous amounts of love. I strive for more at every turn. More adventure, more laughter, and definitely more diet coke (sorry coffee lovers). 

When there are so many amazing photographers to choose from, what could make me the perfect fit for you? I care deeply about the people I work with. For me, being a photographer isn't just snapping pics and collecting a paycheck. I want to know my clients. I want them to know me. Hi! I’m Gretchen, photographer of special wedding day moments! I’ve had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember! I have a passion for capturing all of the “wedding day photos” along with all the details that tell the love story and create lasting memories for couples to treasure for years to come. 

I grew up just outside of Pittsburgh and while I love the steel city, a fun fact about me is that I also LOVE to travel! The last few years have brought me to over 28 states! I love capturing special moments for couples in any city you have your eye on. I’m able to leverage my training as a professional project manager during wedding days to not only capture all the typical “wedding day photos” but I’m also there to jump in and make sure the day happens just the way you envisioned it. 

My goal as a wedding photographer is to capture, document, and preserve the authentic moments and emotions of the day. From the nervous excitement before the ceremony to the heartfelt speeches during the reception, I will be there to capture it all. I want to ensure that couples can look back on their wedding photos and relive the true essence of their special day, with all its joy, laughter, tears, and love.
